Terms

How we work together

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply when Nawa Labs builds or looks after a website or software for you. They are written in plain English. Before you pay anything, you also get a short written quote that says exactly what is included. If the quote and these terms disagree, the quote wins.

1. The free preview

I may build a preview of your homepage before you decide. It is free and you are under no obligation. If you do not go ahead, I will not use your business name, photos or details anywhere else.

2. Quotes and prices

Every job has a fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts.
Website packages: Starter £650, Growth £1,250. Custom builds from £3,000, quoted per stage.
Your web address (about £10 a year) is separate and registered in your name.
Extra work outside the quote is only done if you agree the price first.

3. Payment

Starter and Growth: half when you say go ahead, half when the site is ready to go live.
Custom builds: a deposit, then payments at the stages set out in the quote.
Invoices are due within 7 days.
The site goes live on your web address once the final payment is made.

4. Changes and timings

Changes are unlimited while I build your site and for 30 days after it goes live. After that, each change request is £60, unless you are on the care plan. One request can cover a few small changes sent together. I will always confirm before I start.
A change means editing what is already there, such as wording, prices, photos, areas or the order of sections. New pages or new features are quoted separately.
You can request changes any time through your private change link, or on WhatsApp.
"Live in 3 days" means 3 working days from when I have everything I need from you: your details, prices, photos and the go-ahead. If things arrive later, the date moves with them.
You are responsible for making sure the information and photos you give me are accurate and that you have the right to use them.

5. Who owns what

Once you have paid in full, the website design, content and code made for you are yours.
Your web address is registered in your name and belongs to you.
I may keep general tools, code and know-how I use across projects, and I may show your site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

6. Cancelling a website build

You can cancel at any time before launch. You pay only for the work done up to that point, and any unused part of your payment is refunded.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than a business, you also have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing. If you ask me to start work during those 14 days, you pay for the work done before you cancel.

7. The care plan

£30 a month for small changes within one working day, adding your newest Google reviews, regular checks that the site and its buttons work, and a short monthly update.
Hosting is included with every website, whether or not you have the care plan.
No contract. It runs month to month and you can cancel any time, with no exit fee. It stops at the end of the month you cancel in.
Small changes means updates like new prices, photos, opening hours or a short new section. Bigger work is quoted separately.
If you cancel, your website stays online. I can also hand over your website files, or move it to your own hosting account, whenever you ask.

8. What I cannot promise

I build websites to rank and convert well, but nobody can guarantee a position on Google or a number of calls.
Services run by other companies, such as Google, WhatsApp, Cloudflare and domain registrars, can change or go down. I am not responsible for their outages, but I will help you when it happens.
My total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Problems

If something is not right, tell me and I will do my best to fix it quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
